Hotel Montefiore Restaurant
French touch in a boutique hotel
Located in Rothschild Boulevard area, the Hotel Montefiore is a chic and trendy boutique hotel: set in a beautiful 1920 building, it has 12 lovely rooms decorated in a pure French touch tradition.
But the place has mainly become famous for its restaurant. It offers gourmet and bistro food and, as a trendy place, attracts the whole upper-class fashionable Tel Aviv mixed with stylish expatriates and tourists.

Trendy bistro food means brasserie cuisine (that is to say French styled dishes), twisted with an exotic touch: a Vietnamese spell.
You should try then the Beef carpaccio with hazelnut oil; or the Sea bream topped with a lemongrass cream. Delicate, delicious, and original!
More classical, and for those who want to keep the perfect French tradition, you’ll have the choice: try the Chèvre chaud salad (toasts of Saint Marcelin cheese roasted with honey), the Moules Marinier, or the 3 cheeses plate… You’ll feel like in Paris!

For those more interested by exotic cuisine: you’ll find Small nams, or a Tum yum seafood hot pot…
Last but not least, for those who feel like simple bistro food –and that have tight budget, for we have to say that the restaurant is expensive!–, you’ll find pasta, burger, or clubs sandwich.
…For all tastes then, and all prices!
Only similarity: as a “gourmet” restaurant, all the dishes are delicate, which also means small…so that you shouldn’t go there if you are starving!
Indeed one goes to the Montefiore much for the style and atmosphere of the place than just for eating. That’s true, the restaurant is beautifully decorated: black, beige, white colours, delicate decorations, nice bar, the whole “à la française”.
For that reason, the Montefiore is a perfect place for dates: go there, sip a genuine cocktail at the bar, eat at the restaurant in absolute delicacy, and your date will for sure turn into a romantic “rendez-vous”!
…And if not in a date, go there at least once to smell and taste a chic French touch in the middle of Tel Aviv!
