Rothschild Boulevard
"If I were a rich man, Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum….. All day long I'd biddy biddy bum….. If I were a wealthy man!"If I were a rich man, Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum…..
I'd build a long boulevard in the heart of a city by the sea. Decorate it with red flower trees that shadow the summer and protect from rain
Straight line would be my boulevard filled with all kinds of people:
Young "hot chicks" meeting great-looking studs in the mid-boulevard kiosks – accompanied with their big and small dogs, gray and brown, colored or not sniffing each other, while their owners sniff each other too.
Old people taking their afternoon nap – welcomed by my boulevard side benches
Hassidic jews, quickly running here and there as if God almighty is timing them.
Children and housewives -desperate, and those housewives who make their spouses desperate, with or without strollers – gazing at the "pick-up" kiosks – in yearning, the young pick up scene – in my boulevard
If I were a rich man…..
The sidewalks harboring all sorts of restaurants – high-end and basic kitchens, and kiosk sophisticated sandwiches
One end of my boulevard kissing the sea and the other stretch toward high culture – (music and Habima theater located at the north end of the boulevard) Like respected city boulevard it constantly flirts with its crossing Bnei Zion Boulevard that might take you from Habima theater straight to Dizengoff St.
Sidewalks – over looking white houses, straight lines – the capital of "Bauhaus" in my boulevard – After all money can buy it all
If I were a rich man – I would build it all in harmony and name it – what else after me…..If I were a rich man – If I was a Rothschild – I would build me the Rothschild Boulevard in Tel-Aviv
The ultimate urbane boulevard at day time, sunset and night time in the city that never sleeps, the city of mankind: Tel -Aviv
