Amongst the many Restaurants here are several recommendations:
- Pico a la Pasta: This is a small and intimate Italian restaurant located at Ben-Yehuda and Mendeley Mos Street. It’s the perfect place to take out your date and have a cold glass of white wine. All the pastas are handmade in the restaurant.
- Benedict: located at Ben-yehuda and Jabotinsky, Benedict is a restaurant that specializes in anything that has to do with eggs, from sunny side up to eggs as a topping on a hamburger. The most famous dish on the menu would have to be the Eggs Benedict. Benedict is also known for the fact that it’s open 24/7.
- Frank: Tel-aviv’s wiener, Frank is a small hotdog store on -Yehuda and Frishman. There are a lot of hotdog places in Tel-Aviv; Frank made a name for itself by being unique and selling hotdogs just like they do in Europe. There is nothing the typical Israeli likes more than feeling he’s eating a European delicacy. It’s open until the small hours of the night waiting for clubbers returning from their night stroll.
Ben-Yehuda Street is known for hosting some of Tel-Aviv’s best places in to go out partying:
- YaYa Club: Located at Ben-Yehuda 1, YaYa club is the newest addition to Tel-Aviv’s nightlife. In Tel-Aviv being the newest means being the trendiest. There is a big terrace overlooking Tel-Aviv. Inside the large dance floor making the night a night to remember. Make sure your name is on the list/reserve a table; if not there is a good chance you won’t get in.
- Mafteach Club: Just after Ben-Yehuda and Frishman there is a passage way (right next to the super market) leading up to one of Tel-Aviv’s best underground clubs. Get your ears ready for an experience they won’t forget. Electronic, Trance music is what you will hear at the mafteach Club. Just like most of the clubs’ reserve a table or make sure you have the phone number of someone that works there, if not you won’t get in.
- Eliezer Bar: In Tel-Aviv it’s very rare to find a bar that is older than three years, because of the competition the bars usually don’t survive more. The Eliezer Bar is one of those cases where they are above the competition. After six years the Eliezer Bar has established itself as one of Tel-Aviv’s nightlife most stable bars. The music is anything between Rock and Israel music and the crowd is usually something between 23-30.
As you can see Ben-Yehuda Street is defiantly worth checking out. When looking for accommodation you should check an option for renting an apartment for a short term, it might cost less than going to a hotel.
