Markets in Tel-Aviv
Tel-Aviv offers a wide range of markets, you can find anything from old radios to very expensive antiques.
It is the oldest market that was founded by Turkish empire. It is full of people all the days of the year, in Jaffa it is without a doubt one of the biggest attractions full of second hand wonders that you would have never of guessed you would ever run into. In the flea market you are likely to find: old clothes, carpets, furniture, a lot of antiques. The Jaffa flea market is known to be one of the leading flea markets in antiques in the middle east.
Every summer the Tel-Aviv municipality arranges a event that happens every Thursday a which the flea market stays open until late. The streets are filled with music acts and street theatre. It is really a sight to be seen as the streets of Jaffa fill with hundreds of people alongside everything that Jaffa has to offer.
Located at the heart of Tel-Aviv "Shuk Ha'Carmel" is known as Tel-Aviv's largest market. Tel-Aviv is a very expensive city,if your apartment has a kitchen this is where you start to live like the local's. Everyone goes to the Carmel market in order to do their shopping. It is without a doubt the place where you can get your food for the cheapest price.
At the end of the market, right at the "Carmelit"(bus station) you will find the stands that are considered to be the cleanest and the best quality of food, they are also a bit more expensive.
This market is was known for the endless falafel stands the used to be there. In the old days they sold falafel in the famous "all you can eat" fashion, that didn't work out but what did work out was a lot of sellers came to the market to sell leftovers of famous brands that they were stuck with.

Levinsky Market
Located at the south of Tel-Aviv, Levinsky market is known for the spices you can find there. In the market area you can find numerous Parisian, Moroccan and Turkish restaurants.
One of the most famous Diners in the Levinsky market is called "Raphael". It is known for its high quality cheese that can only be found there. Also known for their bundles of olives in all kinds of herbs.
